Snipping Tool lets you take a screenshot of your phone screen.
Unlike the screenshot tool built into the Android operating system, Snipping Tool can be used without pressing a button on your phone. Users just need to open up Snipping Tool and choose to have it as an overlay button. If you don't want it as an overlay button, you can also choose to wave your proximity sensor to have your phone take a screenshot.
Once you're done taking your screenshot, Snipping Tool lets you edit the screenshot. You're able to crop the picture along with being able to add text to add more context on why you took that screenshot in the first place. Users are then able to save their final screenshots into various file formats like PNG and JPG.
In all, Snipping Tool is a very useful application for those constantly taking screenshots of their phone screen.
